Xbox One also getting $50 US discount

Microsoft has mirrored by Sony by introducing its own $50 post Black Friday discount to Xbox One in the US.

Sony last week confirmed that its $250 500GB Uncharted 4 PS4 Slim bundle would be returning for Christmas. Now Microsoft has rolled out a $250 500GB Battlefield 1 bundle, along with a $250 Minecraft bundle.

In addition, its 1TB Gears of War 4 bundle can be had for $300.

Like Sony, these deals will run until Christmas Eve.

The price war comes after a period of intense competition between the two formats in the US. Xbox One recently overturned a long losing streak to claim the title of best selling console for four consecutive months. However, PS4 regained its throne in November.
