IO Interactive move to new studio, change logo for “new chapter in digital world”

Hitman developer IO Interactive has relocated to a new studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, to a new "ultra-modern" office that will offer the studio new benefits, including an on-site motion capture studio.

"Our new studio is an energetic, high-tech, and exciting place to work that has been created specifically for our needs as an ambitious development studio," commented studio head, Hannes Seifert in an emailed statement.

"IOI has always been a studio that creates unique and interesting games," continued Seifert. They’ll be developing the recently announced Hitman Season 2 in the new space, and indeed the move could be attributed to the successes seen with Hitman, as back in 2013 the company let go "almost half" of its staff, cancelling all projects except the still in-development Hitman.

Celebrating the move, the company also has a new logo — visible at the top of this page — with the new office nad logo hoping to signify a change for the company which, according to the press release, is IO’s "new chapter in the digital world."
