Watch Dear Esther with live music and narration at the Barbican

Dear Esther fans will want to free their diaries in October for what sounds like an awesome night at London’s Barbican.

On October 14th an audience is invited to enjoy a playthrough of the game on the big-screen while accompanied by a live narration by Nigel Carrington and live musical performance of the score penned by for Chinese Room developer Jessica Curry.

Developer Dan Pinchbeck will be the one playing the game, which will be completed in its entirety during the performance.

The event will coincide with the game’s release on PS4 and Xbox One.

Tickets are priced at 22.50, with discounts for members. The show kicks off at 19:30.
