Pokémon Go outperforming Game of War, Clash of Clans and Candy Crush in US iPhone charts

At long last, mobile game Pokmon Go is out in some regions and the title appears to be doing rather well for itself.

The title has shot straight to the top of both the free and top grossing charts on iOS in America. This is particularly impressive as typically a free-to-play game requires some time before consumers are willing to shell out real money.

It’s currently generating more money than mobile giants like Mobile Strike, Game of War, Clash Royale, Candy Crush Saga and Clash of Clans.

We’re unable to check international Google Play charts to see how it’s doing on the Android side of things.

The game is yet to be made available in the UK, though a release is surely incoming. Android users can download and side-load the game as it is available in other regions, however.

It’s not all good news however. The game’s servers appear to be struggling under the sheer volume of users trying to sign up for Pokmon Go, though developers are attempting to stabilise things.
