Insomnia Festivals set for Ireland and Scotland

GAME and Multiplay’s Insomnia consumer shows will visit Scotland and Ireland next year.

The England-based eSports events have already expanded beyond the Coventry Ricoh Arena and moved to Birmingham NEC.

Insomnia Scotland will take place between April 29th and May 1st at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. It will host 14,000 fans, making it Scotland’s largest gaming event. It will feature the usual combination of eSports tournaments, plus games demonstrations from triple-A publishers and indies.

Insomnia Ireland will take place between June 10th and June 12th at the Killarney Convention Centre, and will hold 5,000 consumers.

We’re excited to unveil our international plans, and these Scottish and Irish festivals are just the start of our commitment to Insomnia fans the world over,” said Craig Fletcher, founder and CEO of organiser Multiplay.

With the support of a vibrant community from the US and throughout Europe, we’ll continue to grow our festivals to reach as many of our incredible fans in the future.”
