Second annual Oculus Connect set for September

Oculus VR has announced its Oculus Connect 2 developer conference will take place this September.

The second annual Oculus Connect will return to the Loews Hollywood Hotel from September 23-25, with registration for the event kicking off sometime next month.

Keynote speakers will include Oculus CTO John Carmack, chief scientist Michael Abrash, and CEO Brendan Iribe – with the conference aiming to provide "everything developers need to know to launch on the Rift and Gear VR.”

The company announced earlier this month that its VR headset Oculus Rift is scheduled for consumer release in Q1 2016.
