Goblins vs Gnomes expansion confirmed for Hearthstone

Blizzard’s weekend announcements included news of another expansion to card battler Hearthstone.

While the previous Curse of Naxxramas update introduced a single player component, the new Goblins vs Gnomes focuses on the core multiplayer game by introducing 120 new cards.

The cards can be won in the Arena mode or purchased with either in-game gold or actual Earthen cash.

Goblins vs Gnomes is going to turn Hearthstone on its head,” Blizzard boss Mike Morhaime said. It introduces a ton of new cards with all-new options for decks and strategies, and we can’t wait to see all the crazy combinations players come up with.”

A release date has not yet been announced.
