Former God of War lead Stig Asmussen joins Respawn

Ex-God of War creative director Stig Asmussen has joined Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment, studio co-founder Vince Zampella has confirmed.

Speaking with Polygon, Zampella stated the company is super excited” to have Asmussen onboard. The industry veteran left Sony Santa Monica in March after 11 years with the studio.

Asmussen himself further clarified to the site that he’s been working at Respawn for a couple months” now, adding that development of the Titanfall franchise is not his current focus.

Respawn launched Titanfall as its debut title earlier this year on Xbox One and PC, with a sequel reportedly already in the early stages.
