Destiny beta scheduled for July

The beta release of Bungie’s Destiny is now set for July, Activision Blizzard revealed during its quarterly financial report.

The beta’s release window was originally targeted for Spring 2014, and subsequently adjusted to Summer 2014 earlier this year. It will arrive on PS3 and PS4 first, and shortly after on Xbox platforms.

Bungie stated in November that the studio is hoping for 1m testers to crash against” Destiny’s beta. It was also revealed earlier this week that Activision is investing $500m into the IP.

Destiny is set to launch September 9th on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
