All hail the Helix fossil - Forza Horizon developer takes home the prestigious trophy and bragging rights after another tense tie-break

Playground Games 2 victorious at first Leamington Spa Develop Quiz

Playground Games team 2 took home the trophy at last night’s Develop Quiz after emerging victorious following a tense battle of minds and a closely fought tie-break.

18 teams took part in the popular event last night, the first time we have graced the town of Leamington Spa for the Develop Quiz. Developers clashed minds on both gaming and general knowledge questions, with rounds including name that movie poster, games mathematics and name that theme tune.

Playground Games 2 finished the night joint top with Hardlight 2 on 76 points, and were then tasked with guessing the number of pages in Develop magazine since 2013 – with Playground Games 2 guessing closest. The correct answer was 784, if you were curious.
