Rekoil heads to XBLA, Steam later this month

Plastic Piranha’s upcoming FPS Rekoil will land on Xbox Live Arcade and Steam later this month, publisher 505 Games has announced.

A 505 rep confirmed to Polygon that the downloadable title will launch for PC on Steam January 28th. Rekoil: Liberator will launch a day later on January 29th for Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

The rep explained that both versions offer the class-based FPS packed with all of its 40 weapons, seven modes, and 10 maps. The difference is in the lack of mod tools and eSports support for the XBLA offering.

The Steam version of the game is currently available for pre-order at 30 per cent off its launch price tag of $14.99.
