The chance to own something a few hours before you could otherwise own it has always been an enticing one for gamers.
The global arrival of Grand Theft Auto V last night saw over 2,000 shops across the UK open their doors to queues of fans keen to get their hands on what could be the most successful video game of all time.
GAME opened the doors for some 320 stores, with the pictures below showing the happenings at its Stratford branch.
