Xbox One gets Call of Duty: Ghosts bundle

Activision’s best-selling shooter will be available bundled with Xbox One, Microsoft has announced.

During its pre-Gamescom press event, the platform holder confirmed Call of Duty: Ghosts would feature in a premium console bundle, which will include the Xbox One, Kinect, a copy of the game and bonus DLC, according to VG247.

No release date or pricing was confirmed, but it’s a safe bet that if Xbox One is still on course for a November launch, the Call of Duty bundle will be available on day one. Ghosts is due for release on November 5th.

Microsoft also confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC will still be a timed exclusive for the platform holder –presumably this is for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Activision also announced that the Xbox One version of Ghosts will use dedicated servers powered by Microsoft’s cloud technology.

The publisher also took the time to show off a new map and a new multiplayer mode call Blitz.
