VIDEO: Whore of the Orient footage leaks

KMM’s troubled Whore of the Orient has been spotted in video form for the first time.

As the video below will make you all too aware, the footage was obtained by UK consumer site Videogamer.

Whore of the Orient was supposed to be the next game from LA Noire creators Team Bondi. However, Team Bondi was closed in 2011 only for many of its developers to find a new home with production studio Kennedy Miller Mitchell.

In 2012 KMM told the world that the game was in development for next-gen consoles, but the project has since faced further troubles.

In April of this year it was reported that the Whore of the Orient team at KMM had been laid off. Then in June KMM secured $200,000 worth of funding from Australian investment board Screens NSW. The current belief is that work on the project continues and that KMM is still on the hunt for a publisher.

It’s not known how old the footage below is, but it’s certainly a far cry from the next-gen footage we’ve seen to date.
