King.com now has 70m daily users

Cross-platform casual games company King.com has revealed some impressive numbers.

The publisher now has some 70m active daily users (ADUs) and claims three of the top ten most played Facebook games – Candy Crush Saga (15.5m ADUs), Pet Rescue Saga (6m ADUs) and Farm Heroes Saga (4.8m ADUs).

It hosts 21bn gameplay sessions per month across mobile and online.

The news was released as King confirmed an iOS release for Facebook hit Pet Rescue Saga. It’s the third King game to be released on the format.

We are completely humbled to have three of our games among the top ten on Facebook and seeing that our games are attracting over 70m daily players and 21bn gameplays a month across all platforms,” King CEO and co-founder Riccardo Zacconi stated.

Pet Rescue Saga’s fun puzzle challenges have proven to be extremely popular since its release in October. The game quickly became one of the most prevalent games on Facebook and is one we are confident will translate well to mobile.”
