GamesAid Tenner raises over £3,250 at MCV Awards

UK games industry charity GamesAid raised an impressive 3,295.92 at last week’s MCV Awards.

The organisation was promoting the GamesAid Tenner initiative, which encouraged attendees of the event to hand over their cash to support a host of worthwhile charities.

Attendees of the Awards were also treated to the second ever performance from the Games On Song choir.

Led by IGN’s Ian Chambers, the choir performed their first charity concert in December, raising 12,500. The singers are games industry professionals of all levels and includes Andy Payne, Kirsty Payne, Ian Livingston, Richard Keen, Rob Cooper, Alan Dykes, Jo Twist, Bruce Grove, Charlotte Fraczek and Harry Holmwood.
