Kwalee pussies out, renames iOS game Pussy Flip

Pussy Flip is no more, having undergone a name change.

UK casual game outfit Kwalee has renamed its puzzle title Pussy Flip to the altogether less risqu Flip the Cats. It was worried that some of its international audience might have kittens when confronted with the name.

The official line is that the new moniker will work better in global markets and better describes what the game is about”.

The move comes as the game is expanded to offer a number of new languages – French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Thai, Greek and Portuguese.

The game is now available to download for free complete with its new name on the Apple App Store, including a brand new update bringing a host of new features to the title.
