More Sega Saturn games on the way to XBLA and PSN

A trio of Sega’s AM2 titles are to receive digital re-releases on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network.

Sega’s AM2 system became an arcade standard in the ‘90s and also served as the basis for the company’s brilliant but ill-fated Saturn console.

Virtua Fighter 2 and spin-off Fighting Vipers both appeared in arcades and on Sega’s console, while the third confirmed new title, Sonic the Fighters, was a Japanese arcade-only release although it has subsequently appeared in Sega’s Sonic Gems Collection.

All three will appear on Xbox Live in Europe on November 28th at 400 Microsoft Points each. A European PSN release is scheduled for December 5th with each costing 3.69.
