Windows Store App Labs set up in more than 30 cities across the globe

Microsoft offers dev support classes for Windows 8

Microsoft is offering a series of events for developers aimed at supporting the creation of apps for Windows 8.

The Windows Store App Labs have been set up in locations across more than 30 cities around the world where developers can gain access to Windows 8 devices, get design help and also meet with various Windows experts.

Developers are encouraged to test out their apps on a variety of screen sizes, input methods and chipsets on devices including Windows RT tablets and Ultrabooks, whilst designers are also on hand to to review apps and provide feedback on how to improve features on app layout, navigation, live tile and other UI elements.

The first wave of London events will take place every Monday over the next two months, kicking off next week on October 29th from 8am, with another event also beginning from 1pm and finishing at 5pm.

Visit the official Windows Store App Labs website for more information.
