Konami confirms Metal Gear Solid HD launch date

Konami has officially announced a June 12th launch date for Metal Gear Solid HD Collection in North America.

Retailers previously listed the US date, along with word of a ‘late June’ release for the Vita port in European markets.

The new version lets players sync save files with the PS3 game. Keep in mind to use this feature players would need to own both Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on both the console and handheld.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on Vita includes new control options, utilizing the touch-screen and rear touchpad to zoom in on cut-scenes, cycle through weapons, peek around corners, interrogate enemies, and perform rapid knife attacks.
