$350 million valuation of mobile publisher worth $140m more than sale of Draw Something developer OMGPOP

Funzio seeks $50m in latest funding round

Mobile games start-up Funzio is seeking to raise $50 million in a new funding round, according to a report.

Sources “familiar with the talks” have told TechCrunch that this would value the company at $350 million.

If true, this would make the US-based developer worth $140 million more than the $210 million Zynga reportedly bought Draw Something developer OMGPOP for last month.

The Facebook and iOS developer has created games such as Modern War and Crime City, the latter of which currently attracts 1.6 million monthly active users.

The company previously raised $20 million from companies such as IDG Ventures and IDG Capital Partners during its first funding round in May last year.
