Black Ops II – Blockbuster opening 450 stores at midnight

450 Blockbuster stores will open their doors at midnight next week for the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

It’s the biggest ever operation of this kind for the retailer.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops II is the most anticipated game of the year and pre-orders are rising every day,” Blockbuster’s head of games James Morton stated.

We’re thrilled to have the largest number of stores we’ve ever had participating in a midnight opening so that wherever you are in the UK, there’s a local Blockbuster that will be open.”

Those who have pre-ordered the game through the chain will also receive a free copy of Act of Valour on either DVD or Blu-ray.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II will be released next Tuesday (November 13th) with the midnight openings occurring on the evening of Monday November 12th.
