2K launches Evolve: Hunter’s Quest for mobile devices

Evolve publisher 2K has announced the release of Evolve: Hunter’s Quest, a spin-off and companion app to the upcoming FPS.

The puzzle game the app centers around is a match-3 type where clearing groups of tiles and creating combos results in powering up Evolve’s Hunters in their fight against various monsters at the top of the screen. The mobile release features 100 missions and allows players to upgrade characters in the proper Evolve by transferring points.

Evolve: Hunter’s Quest is available on select Amazon Fire devices, Android, iOS and Windows Phone. The free download can currently be picked up on the Amazon Appstore, Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Evolve itself is set to launch on PC, PS4 and Xbox One next month. Here’s a look at the Hunter’s Quest release trailer:
