574 GAME and Gamestation stores prepare for MW3 midnight launch

Close to 600 branches of GAME and Gamestation will open their doors on the night of Monday November 7th for the arrival of Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

A total of 574 stores will open at around 11:45pm on the night.

As usual, GAME Oxford Street will be playing host to a special event where punters will have the chance to win lots of merchandise and a Samsung TV.

The retailer also says attendees will also be treated to a special delivery of the new release in a style never seen before at GAME”. Considering a tank was enlisted in the Battlefield 3 launch, we can only imagine what that might mean.

With this year’s Modern Warfare instalment being bigger and better than ever before, we wanted to give our customers the most exciting midnight launch possible,” PR boss Neil Ashurst explained.

With 574 GAME and Gamestation stores opening at midnight for the launch of the biggest title of the year, we’ve drafted in our troops for the UK launch of the game giving our customers the chance to get their hands on the game as soon as it hits the shelves.”
