Activision confirms Treyarch developing next Call of Duty

Call of Duty’s 2015 entry will be developed by Treyarch, franchise publisher Activison has confirmed.

The company confirmed the studio’s involvement as part of yesterday’s Q4 financial briefing.

Treyarch is part of a three developer carousal for the series, alongside Call of Duty: Ghost’s Infinity Ward and Advanced Warfare’s Sledgehammer Games.

No new details were mentioned regarding the yet to be revealed title, though more than one unconfirmed source has indicated the team is working on what would effectively be a sequel to Call of Duty: World at War.

Activision also mentioned that it has a top team” working on an unannounced new release, but declined to provide any further info on the matter.
