Against the odds, Amplitude hits its Kickstarter goal

Harmonix has successfully achieved its crowdfunding goal for an HD remake of its cult rhythm action game Amplitude.

The Rock Band and Guitar Hero creator’sKickstartercampaign surpassed its funding goal of $775,000 with just 21 hours left to go. Just one week ago it stood at just $250k and seemed to have little chance of passing the finishing line.

You did it. We honestly can’t believe it – we get to make another Amplitude and play it with you guys. It’s incredible,” Harmonix’s John Drakewrote in an update.We’re reeling from the news and we’re incredibly humbled by the support from all of you.”
