Age rating omission delayed PS3s Lair

Although it arrived in North America on August 31st, European gamers have been waiting quite a while to get their hands on Sony’s PS3 exclusive Lair – and

CVG

reports that the recent delay suffered by the title was due to a problem with age ratings.

Sony last week confirmed, on the day that the game was due to be released in Europe, that: "Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the launch of Lair has been delayed very slightly."

But CVG now claims that the reason behind the delay was that the game discs were missing the necessary age ratings. Sony now must either re-manufacture the discs or apply the appropriate stickers.

No new release date has yet been announced, though expect it to arrive shortly.
