Alworths enters administration

The retailer set up following the collapse of Woolworths has gone into administration.

The 17-strong chain was set up in 2009 by former Woolies head of development Andy Latham. The shop mirrored Woolworths in terms of range, which included toys, confectionary, music, games and DVDs.

The firm is based in Redhill, Surrey. Leonard Curtis has been appointed as administrators.
