Analyst: GTA V will come in 2012

Grand Theft Auto V will arrive in Take-Two’s financial year 2012 (April 2012 to March 2013)

At least that’s according to Janco Partners analyst Mike Hickey, who goes on to predict the game will sell 16m units and generate $750m.

According to GameSpot, the analyst also expects BioShock: Infinite to arrive that year, and that the shooter will sell over 4m units and make $182m.

Why so many? Hickey points to an increased install base for PS3 and 360.

His analyst note also suggest that Take-Two will enjoy a successful 2011 – even without Red Dead Redemption or Grand Theft Auto. He cites LA Noire, Max Payne 3 and Duke Nukem Forever as key sales drivers for the period.
