Anarchy Reigns finally gets UK release date

Sega has finally announced a European release date for Platinum Games’ Anargy Reigns.

It will be released on January 11th in the UK.

That game’s road to market has been a troubled one.

As long ago as May 2011 the game was pushed back to 2012, with a July 2012 date touted just before Christmas last year.

Platinum Games then reacted badly to Sega’s decision to delay what the studio described as a finished” title. And it got even grumpier when a second delay was revealed in July, even going as far as to openly criticise the publisher online.

The action outing arrived in Japan in July, though failed to storm the charts as hoped.
