Andy Murray addicted to MW2

Activision’s Modern Warfare 2 is being pegged as the reason behind the high-profile split of Scottish tennis star Andy Murray and former girlfriend Kim Sears.

The Sun reports that Sears ended her four-year relationship with the sports pro after he spent seven hours playing Activision’s shooter on PS3. A source told the newspaper that:

She felt she was playing second fiddle to [the game]. There are a number of reasons for the break-up. But computer games did factor.”

Murray’s agent, however, claims that Andy doesn’t play computer games any more than any other 22-year-old”. Making seven hours a day seem about right.
