Big names sponsor 2011 MCV Awards

Publishers, platform holders, retailers and more have signed up to endorse this year’s MCV Industry Excellence Awards.

Sega has sponsored the Pre-Event Drinks for 2011, while Codemasters will support the Awards as Gold Partner. Ubisoft dance title Michael Jackson: The Experience will end the evening on a high note as After Party Host.

Gamescom is backing the evening as Event Partner and Premier PR will sponsor the New Game Brand award. Recruitment experts OPM Response has been named Table Gift Partner.

Nintendo has already signed on as the exclusive partner for the entire Retail Category, while The Hut Group is sponsoring the Games Publisher award.

The 2011 MCV Awards will take place at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London on Thursday, April 7th. Radio presenter and comedian Iain Lee will host.

There are 19 awards up for grabs across retail, publishing, PR and more.
