Black Ops ‘is biggest PS3 title’

Activision has declared that Call of Duty: Black Ops is the best-selling PS3 game of all time.

The publisher claimed this achievement had been proved by figures from GfK Chart-Track and NPD, although no sales figures was given.

If true, this means Black Ops has topped records set by Gran Turismo 5 (6.37m), GT5 Prologue (5.2m), Metal Gear Solid 4 (4.75m) and Uncharted 2 (3.8m), according to Eurogamer.

Back in November, Activision confirmed that first day sales for Black Ops across all formats had passed 5.6m in North America and the UK – almost a million more than the 4.7m units achieved in the same period by Modern Warfare 2.
