Blade & Soul western launch set for January

Popular MMO Blade & Soul will make its way to western markets this January, publisher NCSoft has revealed.

The game will release in North America and Europe on January 19th. It’s been out in Eastern markets since 2012, though the free-to-play title still remains in beta to this point.

While the game will be free to download, NCSoft is offering a premium priced Founder’s Pack that gives players Head Start access on January 15th. Blade & Soul itself will include seven classes, 30 dungeons and a level cap of 45 at launch.

The western version’s next closed beta run is planned to kick off next week on November 24th, with sign-ups available on the official site for the game.
