Blockbuster adds games to Unlimited rental memberships

The UK arm of rental chain Blockbuster has announced that as of today members of its Unlimited Rental Plan can now rent games at no additional charge.

The company’s website has already been updated to include games on its online rental selection page alongside movies.

Unlimited Rental Plans start at 9.99 a month for single disc hire. Two discs costs 12.99 and Three Discs 17.99. Non-Unlimited plans are priced between 4.99 and 7.99.

The changes cover all existing Unlimited customers and all future Unlimited plans will include games.

The price of OnlineXtra membership has also been reduced from 19.99 to 12.99. Those on the basic 4.99 membership can now add games for an extra 1 a month.
