Blue Wii launching this November

A first of its kind Blue Wii will be released on November 18th in the UK, Nintendo has announced.

The new hardware will be bundled with a copy of Sega’s Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Nintendo has also said that a number of other fun Wii bundles are also being announced this Autumn”.

This will be the last Christmas in which Wii will be Nintendo’s lead home console, with its successor the Wii U ready and waiting for a release some time in 2012.

Expect Nintendo to do all it can to get a last great Christmas performance from the iconic machine.
