Booty named Midway Chairman

Midway has announced the promotion of CEO and President Matt Booty to Chairman of the Board – as former boss Peter C Brown steps down.

Booty will also retain his CEO and President titles.

Booty has been president and CEO of the company since October 2008 but he served as interim president and CEO for the preceding seven months.

His earlier positions with Midway Games included senior vice president of Worldwide Studios and vice president of Product Development.
