Borderlands 2 for Linux in the works

Gearbox’s high-profile action-RPG shooter Borderlands 2 is coming to Linux.

Borderlands 2 port team Aspyr Media confirmed with Gaming On Linux that the studio is developing a version for the budding PC platform. The company brought the game to Mac in November 2013.

A follow-up interview on IGN further reveals that the Linux release will include all of the [game’s] awesome DLC,” likely in a GOTY-style collection.

No release window for the port was provided, though Aspyr teased it will have more to announce about Borderlands 2 and other content related to Linux "in the near future."
