Borderlands dated for October

Take-Two has announced its sci-fi action title Borderlands will be released in October.

The game will arrive in the UK, Europe, Austraila and other territories” on October 23, three days after its debut in North America, according to Gamespot.

Borderlands is a sci-fi shooter with RPG elements that features an extensive drop-in/drop-out co-op mode. Take-Two is confident the game will perform well in the crowded upcoming Q4 trading season.

I don’t think we have to be afraid of competition or shy of what’s out there,” said Take-Two’s global president. I think this holiday season is a little bit lighter in triple-A games than last year.”
