Brian Fargo confirms The Bard’s Tale IV in development for 2015 launch

InXile Entertainment’s Brian Fargo has confirmed The Bard’s Tale IV will launch this year.

"It’s official.. And I’m very personally excited to be working on this. More details to follow," Fargo posted on Twitter alongside a logo of the upcoming title.

Fargo wouldn’t get more specific than the 2015 release window at the time of announcement, and there’s been no mention of launch platforms as of yet.

Whenever and however it does arrive, the release will mark the 30th anniversary of the franchise’s debut – published by EA in 1985. A reboot was released on PC, PS3 and Xbox by Fargo’s studio in 2004.
