Koei Tecmo has still got a long way to go before it believes that Dead or Alive fans have run out of money for more scantily clad virtual females.
DualShockers reports that Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will soon offer a DLC Costume Pass that will in time offer 78 costumes released from now until July. The price? $92.99.
That’s not the half of it, either.
A look at the game’s Steam page reveals a huge assortment of pricey costume DLC, ranging all the way up to 55.99 for the Variety Costume set, the description of which proudly boasts about its skin-baring costumes” and sexy bunny costumes”.
The 49.99 Tropical Paradise set, meanwhile, offers 54 swimsuits including not only 14 ultimate sexy costumes” but also 14 tropical sexy costumes” and four premier sexy costumes”.
What’s the total bill should you click on the ‘Add all DLC to cart’ button? 526.20. Over half a thousand pounds. Plus 29.99 for the game, of course.
Still, it’s not really a surprise that there are fans out there who feel very strongly about seeing virtual female flesh and presumably pay through the nose to get it.
