Captain America out July 15th

Captain America: Super Soldier will hit shelves next month in the UK, Sega has confirmed to MCV.

The third-person action adventure game based on Marvel Entertainment’s superhero property will arrive on Friday, July 15th – two weeks before the film. Captain America: The First Avenger arrives in cinemas on Friday, July 29th.

The game will be released on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS and 3DS. It features an original story penned by comic and film writer Christos Cage.

Gamers will be able to use a variety of Captain America’s attacks to take down the forces of Hydra including his iconic shield. The title blends combat with platforming.

In 2007 Sega acquired the rights to produce games based on Marvel’s Captain America, Hulk and Thor properties, following a similar deal for the Iron Man franchise.
