CEVO Gfinity Season 9 LAN Finals kick off today

The CEVO Gfinity Season 9 LAN Finals begin later today at the Gfinity arena in London.

The tournament will see some of the best Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams in the world battle it out for a share of the $125,000 prize pool, over the course of the next four days.

The field of eight teams has been split into two groups, with the top two from each group advancing to the semi finals. Group A features Virtus Pro, HellRaisers, OpTic Gaming and Splyce while Group B features Team Dignitas, Tempo Storm, SK Gaming and Selfless Gaming. The group stages will be played on April 28th and 29th, before the semifinals start on the 30th, eventually leading to the final on May 1st.

SK Gaming received a last minute direct invitation to the event after Natus Vincere pulled out of the event a couple of weeks ago. The invitation was announced less than 24 hours before the tournament was due to start.

You will be able to watch all the action from the event on Twitch, or if you can make it down to the arena limited tickets are still available for the two group stage days.
