Clash of Clans is making $654k a day

Supercell’s Clash of Clans is certainly showing the established games powerhouses how it’s done.

Business Insider reports that AppData numbers suggest the free-to-play smartphone title is making an astonishing $654,000 a day for the Finnish games firm.

An App Annie report last month revealed that Clash of Clans is currently the world’s third most successful freemium title after GungHo’s Puzzle & Dragons and King’s Candy Crush Saga.

At its height Puzzle & Dragons was reportedly making upwards of $2m per day netting earnings of $65m per month.
