ClayFighter Remastered in the works for PC

A new ClayFighter game is in development for Windows PC, Interplay has revealed.

The publisher and developer Drip Drop Games made the announcement earlier this week, stating that Clayfighter Remastered is scheduled to launch in 2016.

The game will include remastered audio and high-resolution visuals, as well as introduce double jumping, air dashing, counters, reversals, and new super attacks and Claytality” moves for characters.

It’ll also feature 20 familiar environments and more than 20 fighters, including Earthworm Jim, Bad Mr. Frosty, Blue Suede Goo and more.

The fighting franchise originally debuted on SNES and Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, before having sequels developed exclusively for SNES and then Nintendo 64.
