Clones descend on Flappy Bird creator’s new game Swing Copters

Swing Copters is the new game from Dong Nguyen, but good luck finding it.

Not that the game isn’t available – it is, both on iOS and Google Play. But as The Guardian points out, clones of the game were so quick to arrive that some were even released before Swing Copters itself.

The real game currently appears in 63rd place in a search for ‘Swing Copters’ on the Google Play Store.

Cloning was a big issue for Flappy Bird, of course, and it seems that Nguyen has become the go-to target for such actions no doubt as a result of the huge noise it made during its five minutes of fame back in February.

Flappy Bird has since been re-released, incidentally.
