Club Penguin staff cut by Disney

A series of job cuts has been made throughout Disney Interactive, specifically the team behind kids games platform Club Penguin.

Castanetclaims that multiple sources have reported layoffs across at least three branches of the company, due to low membership numbers and poor performance from the once popular property.

The report suggests around 30 people were laid off from the original team in Kelowna, Canada, and even more in Los Angeles. It also claims the entire Club Penguin office in Brighton, England was shut down completely.
