Codemasters teams up with Gem

MCV can reveal that Gem will exclusively distribute Codemasters titles to UK retail with Gem Logistics handling primary distribution. Under the agreement, the first new Codemasters title that Gem will distribute is eagerly-awaited shooter Turning Point: Fall of Liberty.

Further Gem-distributed highlights include HEI$T, Race Driver: GRID and Rise of the Argonauts. Gem will also stock Codemasters’ extensive back catalogue range.

With a 22 year history, Codemasters has been around almost as long as we have and we look forward to growing our businesses together into 2008 and beyond.”

Matt Davies, vice president, northern region, Codemasters, added: Gem has a sound understanding of the leisure market and a reputation as a key added value distributor. Gem’s knowledge and relationships in the leisure market will be a great asset for us as we expand throughout 2008.”
