Codies to unveil new MMO

Growing publisher Codemasters has said that it is to life the wraps on a brand new MMO outing at its upcoming Connect 2008 event in March.

We have no idea what the title is called of what it will be about, but the publisher has said that it will be playable and should be released some time later this year.

Codemasters has a somewhat mixed history in the MMO sector. Early outings RF Online and Archlord have met with little success in the UK, though they have proved more popular overseas. Dungeons & Dragons: Stormreach is doing well, however, whilst recent release Lord of the Rings: Shadow of Angmar has been both a critical and commercial hit.

Connect 2008 will run for two days from March 14th and will showcase Codemasters’ existing MMO catalogue. Tickets are not yet available – for more information keep an eye on the official website.
