Competition alleges "late November launch" for Xbox One

The small print of a Mountain Dew and Doritos competition has pointed to a late November release date for Microsoft’s Xbox One.

PepsiCo and Microsoft are running a competition in the US to give away one of the new consoles every two minutes”. It officially kicks off on November 5th, but NeoGAF spotted a detail hidden away in the T&Cs that gives perhaps the firmest indication yet of when Xbox One will be with us.

States the blurb: Xbox One has targeted launch date of November 2013; therefore, the initial shipments may be slightly delayed; please allow 12-14 weeks for delivery.”

To date Microsoft’s official stance on the console’s release date remains simply ‘November’.

Sony, on the other hand, has confirmed a North American release date of November 15th for PS4 and a European date of November 29th.
